Spooky season has come to an end, and what a month October has been for the Glitterbels team. We love an excuse at the Glitterbels HQ to bring our team together and October is such a great time of year to have some fun. Sit back with a hot drink and let us tell you what the Glitterbels team got up to this month.
We started off the month by working with our social media team to get lots of fun Halloween content ready for the month. We love this time of year as the nail industry always gets creative with all types of nail art fit for the season. Blood drips, iconic horror movie characters, pumpkins, and spiders are just a few of the things we have loved seeing incorporated into nail art this month. Our very own Annabel Maginnis (Creative Director at Glitterbels) loves Halloween. Here are some of the sets she has created this month.
As the month continued, the Glitterbels staff had a pumpkin carving competition. Elliott went to a local farm and got lots of pumpkins, it was truly a sight, seeing the pink warehouse full of huge orange vegetables. Each staff member picked their pumpkin and got to work. We had two days to complete the pumpkins and on a Friday lunchtime, the pumpkins were judged by Annabel. Here are some of our favourites.
Our warehouse manager Lee took the competition to the next level by creating a Glitterbels pumpkin lamp… it even worked!
It's a well-known fact that many of the Glitterbels team have a sweet tooth and what better time of year to fill the office and staff canteen with sweets? At this time of year, there is always a plethora of treats and goodies dotted around the HQ for staff to help themselves to.
To mark the end of spooky season, we planned a staff dress-up day for Halloween. It turns out a lot of our staff enjoy the 31st of October and we definitely enjoyed seeing all the different costumes and well-loved characters walk around the office. Here are some of our favourite Halloween costumes. We also ordered pizza for our staff and had a very good supply of sweet treats dotted around the offices and warehouse.
